Maybe you’re sitting somewhere surrounded by fog right this minute? If so, we'd like to add a little colour to your life. At this time of year, Valais really has it all. Enhanced by pleasant temperatures, tree leaves and larch needles in orange, red and gold compete against a steel-blue sky while, the farmers and winegrowers are processing their freshly harvested crops into the ultimate delicacies. If you don't believe it, come and see for yourself. We’re sure you'll soon be happily toasting it all with a fine Valais wine!
Sustainability does not stop at the vineyards. And although this form of production is more elaborate, the Valais is striving for an ambitious brand of winegrowing based on a vine culture and respectful production with regard to people, the environment and our cultural heritage. The pioneer of this new way of thinking is winemaker Olivier Mounir from the Cave du Rhodan in Salgesch, whose expertise is highly sought-after.
